These five letters really pack a punch: AACSB. They stand for a seal of quality that is currently held by around six per cent of universities worldwide. The International School of Management (ISM) has now received the rarely awarded academic seal of quality - for all of its seven locations, including the ISM distance learning program. In Germany, just over a dozen universities can present it.

Among German private universities of applied sciences, the International School of Management is currently the only one to have been honored at this highest level.

This certifies excellence in research and teaching. Student evaluations are also taken into account. From this globally renowned university accreditation students also benefit. It is further proof of the quality of their degree program, regardless of whether they want to work in Europe, the USA or Asia.

The requirements for this prestigious accreditation are: high-quality teaching, committed lecturers, applied research, productive cooperation with companies and international universities and excellent career entry opportunities for graduates.

The "Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business" was founded by top US universities such as Harvard, Yale and Berkeley. The AACSB accreditation is a major milestone for ISM, comments ISM President and CEO Professor Dr Ingo Böckenholt: "It is currently the most prestigious international accreditation for a business school."

AACSB also stands for the fact that the degrees at ISM are internationally recognized. At the same time, it confirms the continuous worldwide co-operation.
