What characterizes very good practice-oriented studies? Internships and company projects, but also intensive work on current developments and challenges. To ensure that the study content is always up to date, ISM has the board of trustees with more than 50 business experts. In good ISM tradition, alumni also join the expert panel because who knows the ISM studies better?! The newest member is windsor's Managing Brand Director, Jan Mangold.

For the alumnus it is "a real affair of the heart to accompany and advise his own alma mater together with a great team". He is already looking forward to exciting discussions and projects with his former educational institution and the exchange with young academics. As an expert for luxury brands and sustainable fashion, Jan will focus especially on the Master’s program Luxury, Fashion & Sales Management. “Consumers buy textiles more often, wear them less often and throw them away much faster. But this is also an opportunity for me to see how much potential there is to change the circumstances," says Jan. "Today's luxury goods industry needs agile, well-connected managers with a clear head and no barriers in their thinking. I would like to pass on this idea to the students."

ISM and president Prof. Dr. Ingo Böckenholt are always extremely happy when alumni remain firmly connected to the university and long-term partnerships develop as with Jan. "We want to connect students with respected, internationally experienced players like Jan Mangold as early as possible. In his case, it was not least his open and creative approach that persuaded me to bring him to the board of trustees."
